What is The Best of the Year?
The Best of the Year is the best resource for locals and visitors looking for area establishments – from nightlife to restaurants, from medical care to car dealerships and beyond. If you want the Best, if you need the Best, then The Best of the Year takes you there.

What makes The Best of the Year better than others?
The Best of the Year is designed to let everyone share their opinions. It's as simple as that. YOUR opinion will contribute to voting one business, company, institution or person as the BEST in its category in 1 of our 100 select cities.

Don't all "best of's" do this?
Frankly, no! Some are restricted to certain groups of people, or to people who have paid to vote. We believe that EVERYONE HAS A VOICE.

Why are there NO FINALISTS. JUST ONE WINNERTM?
The Best of the Year means exactly what is states -- THE BEST. There can really be only one winner in each category in each city. Finalists and runner-ups are for other promotions, not for The Local Newspaper.
